The Iora is a bassinet designed for infants designed to help parents feel connected with their infant while they sleep. It can be adjusted upwards and downwards, and moved through three different positions for sliding to be placed beside the parent's bed or in the corner, to ensure that the infant is always within reach. The breathable mesh siding allows air to flow through and gives you a quick glance at your child. You can also store extra pajamas or supplies in the large basket beneath.
The Iora is a smaller bedside crib that folds flat. It also comes with a travel case so it can be carried anywhere. Our mum testers found it easy to move from room to room and believed it was a great size for a bedside cot, not too big or small. They also liked the large storage basket, perfect for storing spare bedding or nappies.
This is a great choice for parents who want to sleep together but don't want to share their bed. Also, if one of the partners has mobility issues, such as arthritis or back pain. Our mums who tested it loved that they could easily access their child in the Iora and that it came with an optional reflux incline that helped reduce gas.
Our moms love that it follows NICE guidelines. These are to place the baby in a Moses basket or crib on its own, without toys, blankets and pillows. They also state that the mattress is comfortable and firm for babies and is easy to find sheets for. It's not as light as other cribs that are smaller on our list, so if prefer something lighter and easier to move, you can choose another alternative.
